usually small symbols or words are cute in the inside of the wrist.. a friend of mine got the infinity symbol on hers.. it looks really good

stars! i have 5 stars on each wrist…nautical stars are always good..they stand for guidance and hope..sailors used to get them to help guide them back home after being at sea..i like to think each point stands for something else..one love, one life, one destiny, one hope and one heart

Use a lacy vine with a lot of colour. I have the tops of my feet done this way with butterfly’s wrapped in the vines feeding in the flowers. I wouldn’t have thought of it either, but an old tattoo artist told me it was really beautiful, so I went ahead with his advice. The lines are very fine single needle work. I don’t think a big blob of black ink looks very attractive myself. Tribal would be too much around your wrist.

I have three red flowers w/ the leaves on my wrist, it looks something like a bracelet. I get a lot of compliments. It’s very femine too. Good luck, Nina J

I have a skull on my wrist that gets lots of compliments. Look into traditional style swallows, or hummingbirds. Mainly, pick a design you love,there are no rules on wrist tats……..

you can do something like a small gothic cross; and the symbol for “om” is really nice too. ps- be different and get it done in white ink…soooo cool and very pretty!

i have one on each wrist. one has my girl’s names with roses and vines and the other has my boy’s names with tribal work.

Try putting some of your ideas onto a powerpoint, that way you can play around with size and shape and use as many slides as you want. Butterflies always look nice. Good luck!

I would describe mine exactly as Nina J’s tattoo. Only instead of red flowers, I have one purple flower, one blue flower, one orange flower and one red flower. They’re tiger lily’s, with green leaves and black “tribal wrap-around designs. It is located above my wrist bone and it doesn’t wrap all the way around my wrist. If you were to measure it in length and width, it’s about 4 inches long and 1 1/2 to 2 inches wide. It goes half way around my wrist. I wish I had pictures to show you, and I did but I deleted them off my computer because I printed the pictures out. Damn! But anyways, it’s a very very feminine tattoo as well, and I also get tons of compliments! It looks awesome when I wear color clothes because it matches, and it really stands out and appears to be a bracelet. When I want it covered, I put on a normal bracelet and it covers it just fine, but I never cover it anymore. I love it!

Flowers and vines. Like the vine is the bracelet and the flowers are the charms, only you can’t take it off. Or you could try something different from flowers.
